Family LAw

CRIMINAL LAW
A body of rules and statutes that defines conduct prohibited by the government because it threatens and harms public safety and welfare and that establishes punishment to be imposed for the commission of such acts.
Real Estate Law
Real estate is the modern term for land and anything that is permanently affixed to it. Fixtures including buildings, fences and things attached to buildings, such as plumbing, heating and light fixtures.

A will is the legal instrument that permits a person, the testator, to make decisions on how his estate will be managed and distributed after his death.
Mortgages
A mortgage is a security interest in real property held by a lender as a security for a debt, usually a loan of money. A mortgage in itself is not a debt, it is the lender's security for a debt. It is a transfer of an interest in land (or the equivalent) from the owner to the mortgage lender, on the condition that this interest will be returned to the owner when the terms of the mortgage have been satisfied or performed. In other words, the mortgage is a security for the loan that the lender makes to the borrower.
